Promotional Products New Year Limerick

In a measly poetic attempt to sum up the upcoming new year, I hope this promo limerick relates to my friends in the promotional products industry! Before I get dozens of emails and comments about the “proper” rules of limericks, I do realize I didn’t exactly follow the rules for limericks, so just go with it!

As we approach a new year,

The promo industry is calm and full of cheer.

While planning our goals we want to accomplish,

Everything becomes crystal clear.

With last year so amazing, a better year will be hard to wish.

 

As we reflect on our past good deeds and occasional mistake, 

We see a lot of improvement is at stake.

We pledge to do better,

With all the tasks we undertake,

And become the next industry trendsetter.

 

Meanwhile, new catalogs fill our mailbox,

So many they spill out on the sidewalks,

And let’s not forget all the new promo samples,

Some of them so cool they’ll knock off your socks,

And many great ideas to show our clients as examples.

 

The new year also brings excitement of our favorite upcoming show,

Such as the one and only PPAI Expo,

Where we connect with our promo friends,

And are filled with knowledge from head to toe,

And bring home to our clients the latest trends.

 

After meeting with the promotional products authorities,

We come back to our office and rearrange our priorities,

Guaranteeing an even better new year,

By vowing to not always embrace the majorities,

We’ll improve this great industry that we all hold so dear.
