National Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week recognizes the front line of the healthcare industry. National EMS Week is a time to show our appreciation for their dedication. When is EMS Week 2018? National EMS Week 2019 will be May 19 through May 25, 2018. make sure and get your marketing items and gifts to promote your ambulance service and help educate the public about what you do. Don't forget to get gifts for your paramedics, EMT's, first responders, and dispatchers to show your appreciation for their hard work. Those in the EMS field, such as Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT's), paramedics, first responders, and emergency dispatchers work everyday with very little appreciation or thanks from the public, when, in fact, they save lives every day. These dedicated individuals even make a difference during many of their routine, non-emergency calls that make up the bulk of their day to day work. Life-saving maneuvers are not always used each day by an individual paramedic, EMT, or first responder, however, the compassion and caring that they show to their patients and the help that they provide each day can be tiresome to these professionals. We should reward them with this week by saying "thank you" with gifts. Local businesses can give out premium promotional items such as bags, coolers, and other useful items to show their thanks for the dedicated service these EMS workers provide for the community. Future EMS Week dates will be May 17-23, 2020.
National EMS Week is celebrated during the third week of May. This awareness week is hosted by the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and it a time to show your appreciation to the long hours and dedication that EMS workers endure to be on standby just in case an emergency arises. The spend long hours away from their families on shift covering your city or county. They respond to medical calls as well as trauma calls with professionalism and the knowledge to save your life during an emergency. EMS workers include Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), paramedics, and emergency dispatchers.
To celebrate and honor those men and women who are there for us during some of the most scary and dangerous times of our lives, we have put together a selection of products that we feel are perfect to help say thank you to the Emergency Service Personnel around you. Many of these products have been chosen personally by the owner of Perfect Imprints who is a former Paramedic. With an average shift time of 12 hours, EMS personnel need to be prepared for anything. That’s why we have included items such as the Leatherman Super Tool 300 which includes 19 tools in one, the 20 Oz. Himalayan Tumbler that will keep their drinks hot and cold much longer than a regular cup, and the Dash Compu-Backpack designed to hold personal items they may need during those long 12 hour shifts. Remember to stop and say thank you to an EMS team member in your community for sacrifices they make to help us in our greatest times of need.
