So what are exercise sliders? Basically, they are two small discs to create an instability surface which forces your muscles to be fully engaged throughout a workout. They are sometimes referred to as gliding discs. Just as the name implies, they slide across the floor and can be used with your feet or your hands depending on the type of exercise you are doing. One side of the sliders has a hard plastic surface for carpet and the other side has a softer pad to slide on hard floors. These sliders are great to do quick workouts with high intensity. Sliders are great for your strengthening your core muscles. The different exercises can be adapted to work well from those just beginning to exercise to advanced athletes.
